lucky miss
I had apparently been chosen for a shoot and I questioned what would happen if I didn't get work what would I owe as I realise things don't come for free and I got told that if I was so suspicious that adora model was a scam I should find another modelling agency and that my email was an insult. I'm not an idiot and don't fall into traps easily obviously I hit a nerve and caught them out when they wasn't expecting it. It's safe to say I won't be going to my test shoot when I am treated like that after asking a simple question!

Stop calling!!!
This number calls every day sometimes twice. The phone rings once and then is disconnected. They obviously want us to ring them back probably at some vastly costly call rate. Well they can think again and bugger off.

scam- upsetting old people
Rang my elderly mum and said they has £3000 for her in a cheque...couldn't send it and wanted someone to call personally with it???? They asked her to confirm her date of birth....but asked her for it??? which sadly she fell for it and gave them her date of birth not the other way around. Now worried in case they use her full details for identity fraud. I,ve tried to ring number back and its unavailable for some reason? Beware

Had a call from the above today claiming working for behalf of Microsoft calling re error report, when i was very defensive to the Indian lady stating "what is the name of company ECT you shouldn't have my number" a English man came on the phone stating he is from www ( world wide web) i continued arguing with him about being a fraudulent company his reply was im not going to argue with stupid people and then disconnected the phone. Nice!!! Don't be fooled and if you have given any passwords or details then I suggest you change them all and keep a close eye on your bank account.

Fake Microsoft Windows Scammer
Fake "Microsoft Support" scammer with (usually) an Indian-sounding voice, but with a typically familiar English-sounding name like "John Smith"! -) They attempt to gain your trust by quoting a code that is common to every computer running Microsoft Windows, the "CLSID code". This code ends with 00CO4FD7062. Once they have gained your trust they will attempt to get you to type instructions into your computer allowing them control of it. Once they have control of it they can use it for spamming, key-loggers can learn your passwords to your bank account and e-mail accounts and so forth.

accident query. May have wanted me to make a claim
I think she said she was phoning from 'consumer research' and then wondered had I been in an accident recently. I told her she had been misinformed (she seemed to mean a sort of tripping up type of accident, not a car one) and she sounded puzzled and asked if, perhaps, a family member had been in one rather than me. No I said and that was the end of the call. I was under the impression she was being trained up (someone else was in the background) and wondered if she was as much a victim of a scam as maybe I could have been.

I have had several calls from this number despite being ex-directory. I have now reported it to my telephone service provider TalkTalk, who will investigate and if necessary ban the number from their networks. I have also reported the number to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) website where you can give them the details of the nuisance calls.

I went through it
It is certainly from a Lib-Dem call centre though they claim to be independent market surveyors. Some of the questions are quite loaded and options derogatory to the other parties. They tell me the LDs are the nice guys.

Soc Man Ltd. Co Reg 0855 7046 - Commiting FRAUD
These guys are sending out unsolicited texts with links in them. When you click on a link you are charged £6 They are even charging people that have not clicked on the links. They are using the PayForIt mobile service, but NOT following the guidelines or rules of the service. I believe these cowboys are acting fraudulently and refunded as soon as they are challenged to avoid getting into any legal trouble. I suggest anyone getting charged by these guys calls their number (NOT a charge line), gets it blocked and asks for a refund. I also ask that anyone affected by these guys, that did not sign up to their service KNOWINGLY, reports them to "Action Fraud" and to Ofcom as well.

Chris,
NOT again ....
02034592055 call 3 times yesterday and at 08.38 this morning. Indian continent type voice said he was from British Home Surveys. I told him not to *&*^%*$* ring people on the TPS and put the phone down. Just waiting to see how many calls I get today as they seem to be hitting an area at a time. (not unusual).

They are getting their information from register of elector lists, make sure you are not on the open register and probably spam lists sold by the none ethical websites you may have signed up to in the past. . there is money in that data and can keep being sold for years. in my case i have the same phone number but quoted my address of over 3 years ago

Cons number rings forever.
I think I have been conned by these people too. Will find out on Friday but don't think I have to wait really. The man on the phone was very rude when I got through in the end. I need my money back too as I am a widow and only wanted money for a holiday. What I don't understand is why are they still getting away with it. Why isn't the law doing something about it?
