Seems legit.. Until they take your money! Part 3
It's such a shame that companies such as this pray on young inexperienced up and comers and promise them the world, for you to end up coming crashing back down to reality... Well, guess I've learnt my lesson and will definitely not be making the same mistake twice!

The 'phone rang and I saw 0203 .... on the screen
So, what I do with all recognized duff calls (and I know these are with this prefix) -is first turn on my radio, or turn it up if already on, pick up the 'phone and as he/she begins to talk -I lean in very close to the radio and say, 'Sorry mate, can you turn your radio down -I can't hear a fu*king thing saying turn it down for f*ck's sake, I can't hear you'[. As I'm telling him this, I can hear him vaguely, in the background, saying, 'I haven't got a radio on', and I say, 'You must have -can't you hear it? Somebody's got a radio on! TURN THE F*CKING THING DOWN, you're doing my head in'. Then I move from the radio, and listen carefully -and by then they've always gone. And I feel great. It's what's called turning the 'theatre of the absurd' on its head.

very rude
when I said I would not give me personal details to someone calling me he said "you can't get very far in life" and then went on to say "don't know what your problem is, nobody else has had a problem"

Above number called at 16.08 pm. I started questioning their motives for calling and guess what, they put the 'phone down on me! If they try the Windows scam I can always say I have terrible trouble opening my windows and keeping them clean as well!!!!

I also work from home and sometimes these calls are an amusing distraction if I am having an intense day. The woman phoned yesterday and asked if I had an accident. I confirmed that I had. She got interested, especially when I confirmed it was within the last two years. When I told her I had tripped on a raised paving stone, she immediately hung up. She never said anything about a MOTOR accident. When they do, I ask: Which one? I've had four. Once again, they hang up. It's the 'Word Helpline' that I detest, knowing they will con some old folk out of money. Despicable.

ISS
I've had 4 calls from this number I usually ignore unknown numbers but I was waiting for a call from Lloyds so I answered. A very well spoken gentleman, who knew my name, said he was from ISS and that he would only need a few minutes of my time and that if I was not interested in his proposition when he had finished that he would remove me from the database and I would receive no further calls but of course it was in my interest to listen. I said that I wasn't interested, he said haven't told you anything yet, I said you are totally wasting my time and yours, I don't care what it is I am not interested, I don't take unsolicited calls, I am registered with the telephone preference service. He tried to insist that I at least listen to him for a few minutes. I said I have been more than polite I have told you that I am busy and not interested I am now ending this call and I put the phone down. The number has now continued to call me all afternoon!!!

I guess you have something to do with the company calling out of 020 3598 4118 then... you are being quite passionate in your defense. Talking of Binary - low risk and high returns are pretty binary features that are not normally related.

SCAM number 118 call trap
I did not answer the phone, but attempted to call it back with it being a London phone number and I thought it may be a legit enquiry. On calling it you get a fake message saying there is a fault on the line and to ring 118820 (which is £2.50 a minute). If you look up 118820 you will find lots more info on the scam but it would seem they put you on hold for 4 minutes and you get charged £10.

SCAM TUTOR
Paid £150 for 10 hours with a statistics tutor, but i was weary when he did not give me his name, and also once the payment transfer went through to them, they requested that I give them my sort code and account number to confirm the payment was made by me (which I refused to give). Following the payment, I had to call them repeatedly to find out what was going on with my 'tutor', they kept asking when the deadline of the assignment was, and kept saying 'we will call back in a few days to sort it out' another warning-they will give you their apparent company house details to 'show' that they are a legit company, however if you go on the website you will see that there are numerous companies listed under the same name, and that the company name has changed slightly eg ELITE LTD, ELITE LIMITED, and that previous companies have been STRUCK OFF PLEASE ignore getting involved with this man he is a scam and will steal your money, I found his ad on GUMTREE

Money Scam
This number contacted me about outstanding monies allegedly owed for PPI on a loan. I declined to confirm any details and asked them to confirm the data they held. They confirmed my name in full and also my bank but were unable to provide any bank details. They did confirm their number and gave an extension of 258. The caller was male with a strong Asian type accent and not too proficient in the English language. Call ended when I confirmed I would be checking their number. Matter reported to appropriate agency.

just had a call today from Peter Chapman-apparently I'm due £2900 PPI compensation, which I can claim if I get a £150 'ucash voucher' from the local PO - he even told me the name of the local newsagent where I could get this voucher! Then I ring this number(02032879657) and William Cox will 'pop' round take the voucher and then I will get the £2900!!!!!....scam or what?....these people should be arrested!
