A classic example of the stage capitalism has reached e.g. gone mad. Just do as I did, simply tell them to xxxk off.

I leave my answering machine on, if there is no message left I know it's a scam of some sort and it's just costing them a phone call I suppose. With so many calls reported as scams from 02037 one would think BT or any decent 'phone company would intervene.....but of course they are charging for these nuisance calls, so it's 'a nice little earner' for them isn't it?

They are scammers.
Got a call from this number. I picked up the call and the person dropped the phone. The person called again using +8888888888 and then withheld their number. I called this number and a lady picked up after it rang for so long. Reluctantly she gave her name as Selina. Denied calling my number. Later another person called me and asked if I booked holiday or wanted holiday. I guess they are either Agency tracking people, debt collectors or a company that's bought people's daughter for cheap marketing. One thing is certain they are nothing short of nuisance.

Another scam
This number rang and said they were from Sky about the box protection and how they could reduce my costs. We don't have protection but they said that money was going out of my bank monthly. When asked for details they became evasive. Put me onto a supposed supervisor who became aggressive when I said I was concerned and then he put the phone down. Tried to contact Sky but unable to get an answer, another scam no doubt.

Charged twice for a Draw not enrolled on.
Had 2 texts today approx. 1 hour apart. Then received a text from my provider saying my buffer limit was nearly used up. Spoke to my provider, not very helpful, said nothing they can do but gave a STOP text address which I did and a phone no.0330 134018. Left a call back message. Received the call back at approx. 18.00 hrs from a female saying that a text was sent 12.05.2016 inviting enrolment to some prize draw. She further claimed that a request was made to enrol on the 'scheme' and a pin no. provided which was activate. When I refuted this and asked why she was making these claims and if I was being charged for the call she replied 'if I cut you off there is no charge and immediately did so. This is a scam, note the similarity of dates with the Joanna's post. Have reported this to the Police.

Number doesn't exist
Have received several calls from this number over the last few days, most of them at inconvenient times, asking if I'm A**** M*****, when I politely ask who's calling and for his name, he point blank refuses to give it! Today he even said he would keep on ringing me! No company name is given, and 1471 revealed the above number, which when you ring it says it doesn't exist!

Scammed
Mobile Bill
I have just received my mobile bill which includes 2 unsolicited premium text messages from the same numbers as above each for £4.50. I complained to my mobile provider and asked to have the £9.00 charge removed. their help desk said they could not do that as the texts were from a third party called BANIQ PRODUCTS. She gave me a contact number to ring (023037349251) to obtain a refund. The phone number was an automated reply and could not get an option to speak to anyone. It did tell me that I was unsubscribed from something that I had never subscribed to. IS THIS ANOTHER SCAM !!!!!!!!!!

RUDE MAN wanting my address to deliver NOTHING
Guy with Jamaican accent calls and asks to have my address & "apartment number" on my street, I say I'm not comfortable giving you that info because I don't know who you are and haven't heard of your "delivery" company. HE gets very angry and says "FINE DON'T, WE'LL SEND BACK YOUR DELIVERY THEN!" Yeah dude that's a very professional response. I'm sure you're super legit. I just said "No worries mate, good luck trying to rip people off. Bye" And hung up.

Family members know to call mobile numbers first. Fed up with PPI, and "we're calling you in relation to your recent accident" ....and "hello, we just wanted to let you know you are entitled to up to £15k's in compensation" ...... yeah right. Get lost and don't bother me again. Oh not forgetting the extremely foreign sounding individuals who have discovered I apparently have a long lost family member who passed away in another country and all they need from me is my bank account details to make the tens of thousands of pounds transfer which I am entitled to. Then they hit you with the all you have to do is deposit just the initial £250 into their bank account to begin the legal process!! Screen your calls ppl ..... don't be gullible. If something is important , they WILL leave a message and its then up to you to make an informed choice whether or not to chase it up. Check the number first and note the call charges and / or region code. Its not hard and it could save you a fortune. There ..... nuff said !!
